I have seen many tutorials online to create texture effects for text in fonts. Many of the techniques were mainly circulating the Canva text frames in which we simply need to put the texture images inside letter frames.
But I was trying to learn some technique in which we could apply texture effect on any font in Canva.
How To Create Texture Effect on any Font in Canva ?
In today’s tutorial, I will share the steps of my method, by using it you can not only apply any texture effect on any font in Canva but can also apply photo masking for any text font.
Let’s start with the steps.
Step 1- Write your text in any of your selected fonts.
Step 2- Apply any shape from elements under your text.
Step 3- Change the color of your text to white.
Step 4- Download this slide as PNG or JPG and upload it again.
Step 5- Apply effects – Remove background for this slide. This is an important step in which background from your specific text will be removed completely.
Step 6- Apply any texture photo or any image behind this text. Increase the size of your text slide until it will cover the whole slide as shown below images.
Step 7- Download this slide as JPG and upload it again, use effects and then remove background to keep the text-only with your selected texture or photo.
