How to Create Custom Canva Frames with Microsoft Word?

In one of my tutorials, I had shared a technique to create customized canva frames with the help of Photopia. In this tutorial, I will share another method to create custom canva frames with the help of Microsoft Word. It is an easy and quick method. You need to follow few steps.

How to Create Custom Canva Frames with Microsoft Word?

Step 1 – Select the image or element you want to convert into frames in canva. Let’s take the example of a Schoolbag. See the below photo for your reference. We have taken this image from the element.

Step 2 – Now change all the colors of this bag into black. See the below image for your reference.

Step 3 – Now download this black photo as a PDF file.

Step 4 – Now open Microsoft word, Go to “File – Open” and then import this PDF File in word. You will see this PDF file in word as per the below image.

Step 5 – Now click on the image in word, Go to “Shape Format”, Click on the “Shape Fill” and then on the Picture.

Step 6 – After inserting the picture, Save this file as PDF in Word and import it in Canva. This file will open in Canva as below.

Step 7 – Now delete the inside portions of picture, You will see the below frame. Your canva custom frame is ready. You can add any photo in this frame and show the product mock-up to your client for any design.
