Coursera is the polar opposite. Courses on Coursera are affiliated with universities and college instructors, making them eligible for inclusion on a CV. Indeed, all courses include approved digital certificates that you may display on your LinkedIn page or personal website. However, if you audit the course, you will not obtain a certificate.

If you want to study a new professional skill in a similar setting (and budget) as a traditional educational institution, Coursera is your best chance. Courses and degree programs are designed to help you advance in your career and include a genuine, shareable credential but if you’re searching for a low-cost approach to learning a new skill or hobby on your own time, Udemy is the superior alternative. While the course credential may not be worth much to an employer, there are thousands of new talents you may begin learning right now.
