Integration of Canva with many amazing apps is increasing their popularity day by day. Undoubtedly, these additions are adding more features to their platform and making life easy for many graphic designers, freelancers, and business owners around the world. With such rapid adaptability keeping the market needs into consideration, their team is feeling proud to have no better Canva alternative close to their platform.
How To Turn Photos into Digital Art in Canva ?
In this tutorial, I will share a few apps that can be used to turn your photos into digital art. You can sell these art designs on Etsy, the creative market, or even on Fiverr as a freelance graphic designer. Many people are already earning good money online by selling digital art designs on various online platforms as well as demand for these arts is increasing exceptionally.
Although there are many apps integrated with Canva but in this tutorial, I will share the following apps only for your learning.
- Paint Effects
Before moving on, I recommend you to check below articles on Canva to enhance your photo editing skills.
Below are the steps you need to follow to integrate any of the above apps with your canva account.
Step 1 – Chose your canvas size, it depends on your art size or the client’s requirement. Place your image on your canvas page.
Step 2 – Go to the “Edit image” option”. On your left side, You will see many apps and features that are already integrated but if you are not seeing any of the above apps then scroll down this menu and at the bottom, You will find different apps. Simply click on the app you want to integrate with your account and then you can use it for your designs.
There is a possibility that you may not see these apps if you are using a free version of Canva. You should not be worried, Canva is offering 30 days free trial for new users, and trust me their monthly and yearly subscription plan is much cheaper than all other similar platforms.
Below is the design I have created with the Photogenic app. I have used the fitter “Color Pop – Poster” for this design.
I have also used the smartmockup available within canva. These mockups can be used to sell your digital art designs on Etsy or the creative market etc. This will also make a good impression on your clients.
Below is the design I have created with the Paint Effects app. I have used the fitter “Stenzel” for this design. You can play with the settings to achieve better results for your digital art.
Below is the design I have created with the Prisma app. I have used the fitter “Pattern” for this design.
I have also shared the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel “Design Curious“. This will help you to learn more about the application of these apps.
